Indeed.
Definitely one of the guys you like having up there in the clutch.  How do you say Mr. October in Japanese??

I was there
I was in left field, right by the foul pole, and when Iguchi came up i tapped my friends shoulder and said, "Hey here is my pick to click, he already has 1 single this game"

He replied with "Yeah, well, Dye is up next, we'll see then"

IGUCHI GOES YARD

He then says "Ok, Ok, You win!"

Haha, lost for voice for sure, hugged about 4 strangers that night.......

Yay!
I had to work tonight and couldn't watch any of it on TV.

I was nervous driving home and turning on the TV. Then I see the score on the ESPN crawl.

All RIGHT! 2-0.

That must have been an intense game to watch, eh? How long were we down 4 runs?

This is so bleeding good for the franchise! Those other playoff years, it really felt like a curse. We couldn't get anything right.

These guys are breaking through the frustration so beautifully!

How long can it last?

So this is what it feels like, huh?  Let's win on Friday and close this thing out!

I'll be interested in seeing...
...if Ozzie gets any love from the sabermetrically inclined for bringing in Jenks in the 8th. I think in the post-game press conference Ozzie actually said something about wanting his best reliever to face Ramirez. I continually read about how managers should use their best arms in the highest leverage situations, not save them for the ninth inning, and now I've seen it happen.

I work at
a north suburb bar, so its not often that sox fans come in, and when a couple of cubs fans came in and said they were wanting the good guys to come out on top I told them that they were going to bring the Wsox some luck.

This was the inning before Graffinio.

They also were leaving mid-ninth, but when Graffs hit that double I would not let them leave till it was over.
