Around SBN: Will Rhymes 'Fine' After Being Hit By Pitch And Fainting

Sox vs. Angels -- 5/31/05

She never mentions the word addiction
In certain company
Yes, she'll tell you she's an orphan
After you meet her family

She paints her eyes as black as night, now
Pulls those shades down tight
Yeah, she gives a smile when the pain comes,
The pain's gonna make everything alright

Freddy Garcia takes the hill for the Sox, and the Angels send John Lackey to the bump. I would say expect an offensive explosion, but these two offenses are flat out terrible lately. Garcia has had two straight good performances, popping his fastball early in the count for strikes. Lackey got the win last time out thanks mainly to Dallas McPherson's heroics. He did pitch very well, however, so I can't discount him completely. He is a much better pitcher than Jarrod Washburn.

Frank Thomas should get the day off, after being listed as day-to-day with a "tweaked" hip flexor.

For the Record...
I'd go with Mark Buehrle. 4-0 with a sub 3 ERA.

Last month I went with Hermanson over Garland.

I'd probably agree
and go with Buehrle.  He's a rock.

Yeah
entering the night he was .261/.323/.557 in May. 2-3 with a GW HR probably puts him leading the club in OPS for the month.
