Here's a link to a picture of when scotty got punched in the first Yankee series. I tried posting it as an image, but I couldn't get it to work.

I don't know about you guys, but it sure doesn't look like that guy was going for the ball at all, as the "official" report said he was. It also looks like Scotty is a good 4 feet off the ground!

On the brink of another series with the Yankees, I thought it might be nice to see a reminder of the hustle that makes this team great. Hopefully we can get back to that.

I'm a Yank fan...

and I have to say that the fan that threw that punch, should be pummeled until he's barely breathing! The bleachers in NY are filled with individuals who lose their bearing and self control, after a drink or two.

Theres no excuse. It seems, perhaps I am wrong, that fans, who are so obsessive about their favorite team, can rationalize acts like this, when the victim is someone outside their circle.

Boston is no better. The same sheist (deutch) occurs there as well, and could happen at the Cell, it just depends on the individual, and amount of liquor consumed....
