Juan Uribe shoots a couple of guys in DR

Per the good old Rotoworld:

"Juan Uribe and his brother reportedly shot and injured two men in the Dominican Republic on Friday.

The men who were shot have already been released from the hospital. According to the report, Uribe opened fire, perhaps in self defense, after the men approached his vehicle. An investigation is ongoing. Asked to comment on the incident, Steve Lyons said he wanted all four men searched in case they stole his wallet.

Most surprising, it didn't occur in Venezuela! I can't help but laugh. No deaths, so this is humorous.

I can't even figure out a question to ask for the comments. Just discuss.

I've been waiting all day to find english language
confirmation on this...

I've learned not to trust the spanish language papers after the supposed Gourriel defection that never came to fruition and the Freddy Garcia Is A Pothead story that was only reported by one paper with an 'under construction' website.

There's a link on the Chicago Tribune's site, but it uses words like 'reportedly' and says they've been unable to reach Uribe or his agent for comment...

I don't think this is going to blow over anytime soon, but I didn't want to put anything on the front page without a more solid source.

I guess
if he can't gun down a guy at first, he might as well do it in the Dominican :)
