Not much interesting to report on the White Sox front. Tomorrow is the deadline to tender contracts to arbitration eligible players. -- I'll write a post later tonight about the few interesting guys in danger of being non-tendered.

So here's a Bears game thread. Reports out of Hallas Hall are that Griese and Grossman split the snaps in practice and that Rex has the first half to prove himself before he's pulled.

if grossman is freakin' peyton manning in the first half. i've seen enough of rex. i want to see what griese can do. it'll also be interesting to see how the bears' D is affected by the loss of tommie harris...

Garland still headed to the Astros?

Apparently, John Lopez, a beat writer for the Houston Chronicle just said on his radio show on ESPN 790 that Jason Hirsh is part of the Garland deal that is "this close" to getting done. I assume Willy Taveras would also be in the deal and maybe another pitcher. I guess we shall see if this trade ever goes down...

Though the "ick" is a pretty strong indicator. A Bravo-watchingman (except for "6 Feet Under" - straight men can get away with acknowledging a penchant for that show).
