Fun in hindsight
I had forgotten about this article from BP last year. (They linked it today).
It helps explain why I was so bitter towards BP last year.
No one picked them above 3rd and most of them picked the Tigers to finish above them. Good stuff.
While a lot of it WAS luck, I think the fact that there were logical signals that pointed to a Sox improvement that many of us could see in April and BP couldn't is what has made me continue to question what they are missing in their analysis for this year...
A book, "Small Ball? Our colossal screw-up that was predicting the 2005 White Sox" would help me regain my confidence as well as dispel the accusations of BP's self-absorbedness.

I predicted that the Sox would win the division*
The White Sox will win the Division*
*if Thomas plays 150 games and Timo plays none
*if Shingo and Rowand overcome 88 years of regression to the mean
*if Paulie is Paulie, Buehrle is Buerle, and Crede is Brett
*if Uribe channels the best of Gullen (defense), but walks more than twice a month
*if Podsednik finds 2003, Garcia finds 2001, and Everett finds 1999
*if Wille Harris finds his toothpick
*if Duque is Luque and Contreras is Tiant
*if Jermaine Dies
*if Iguchi? is Ichiro! (and not Kazuo)
*if Joe Borchard needs to buy a ticket to get in the park
*if Kenny Williams doesn't trade for Roberto Alomar on July 15th
