PrintI just noticed the other day that former Twin/Met/Indian/Yankee/Cub/Pirate and most recently Mariner Matt Lawton was released. His steroid involvement aside, I think he is a decent low-cost, low-risk option to bring in for some added outfield depth. Is he better than Mackowiak? Probably not, but for what he would cost it might not be a bad decision to bring him in.
