yes, that really upsets me. It is just a dumb point to make. It might be excusable if your team was in the playoffs and lost in the WS or ALCS in 6 or 7 games because of injuries.

Basically.....

Crede slid into the tarp, broke both legs, and got his glove up on the tarp the same second the ball hit the tarp. The web must have caught the ball, the ball went up off the tarp, landed on his stomach as he was falling, it rolled down his leg, and he kicked it up with his foot, then caught it barehanded about 5 inches off the ground.

This does not top the Iguchi play, but it was more bizarre

It looked like it hit the tarp. I know you cant catch it off the tarp. Maybe he got his glove under it, but it was so fast. I need a link to that so i can see it slowed down.

An amazing play, but it was a tough call. I like the hacky sack Crede did to make the catch.

For those who couldn't see, Joe slid to catch the ball in foul territory by the tarp. The ball hit his glove before it could hit the tarp and then rolled all over him before he could get a handle on it. He's unbelievable.
