Buehrle
He gets the Royals at home, the perfect chance to right the ship.
Like I said in the game thread
If you discount Saturday's performance because it was KC then today needs to be a cake walk to convince me Mark is still #2. KC has not beaten a left hander this year.
That aside, Vasquez has been showing he has some of the best stuff on the team. When I see him scheduled to pitch I think W.
I see there is no recap.
Here:
Vasquez was dominant. PC = 116 may have been tops this year.
Pods continues to be a good offensive player with no other redeaming qualities.
BA - two hits, one a homer. Ozzie continues to say he is the starter no matter what.
Thome hits another homer. Goes out for a PR late. Still striking out more than I like.
Gooch goes 4 for 5. Was not asked to bunt.
Cotts was the first out of the pen.
BMac comes in to start the 9th. Protects the 7 run lead.
On a side note:
Boon Logan continues to out poll Mark Buehrle for potential Cy young winner.
The Tigers lose in the bottom of the ninth. I went to their blog to see the reaction and was stunned.
You know....

Do you guys think
Sunday - Buehrle (5 day rest)
Monday - off
Tuesday - Contreras (5 day rest)
Wednesday - Garcia (6 game rest)
Thursday - Vazquez (5 day rest)
Friday - Garland (7 day rest)
Saturday - Buehrle (6 day rest)
Sunday - Contreras (5 day rest)
Monday - Vazquez (4 day rest)
Tuesday - Garcia (6 day rest)
Wednesday - Garland (5 day rest)
and then the normal rest from then on? Or do you stop switching at "Sunday - Contreras" and then wait for the next rest to move Vazquez up to 3rd?

keeping my head straight...
So...not much I can say about that really. Its against the Royals so I figure thats the best time to have 3 bench players in.

The lineup entered the day
They now have 5, which is still pitiful for them, but worse for Buehrle.
Also, Why can't we beat lefties?
Hits per inning pitched...bad

What the hell?
Say what you want
I think
Iguchi
Or is Ozzie like me and failed to notice he's one of our hottest hitters?
Funny thing is
It hardly matters
Not to defend Ozzie, but...
which is why
Grudz
Same goes for Elarton. If they could turn those two into three-four decent prospects, it'd bring some sense to those moves made in the offseason.
Ozuna
wait
Robinson
Its a shame he is destined
Crede
XBL: TheMattressMan
its not funny
Juan has a cannon for an arm
We may have the strongest arms on the left side of the infield.
my recap for what its worth
Crede is clutch. He will not end up hitting .250 this year. I recommend finding another way to predict his performance.
The Sox don't get a win against a leftie. Neither do the Royals.
Pablo is not the worst outfielder I've ever seen.
Today the pen was good. I think we have a good pen. It performs the way I expect it should.
L.A.A.O.A are next.
