MLB fines Ozzie for comments...

...and sends him to sensitivity training.

This seems like the proper response.  I'd prefer the White Sox organization to have done it themselves, but this certainly works.  The press release at mlb.com gives no real details as to the size of the fine or exactly how much sensitivity training Ozzie's gonna need...

SouthSideSox is a community driven site. As such, users are able to express their thoughts and opinions in a FanPost, such as this one, which represents the views of this particular fan, but not necessarily the entire community or SouthSideSox editors.

yeah
I agree with this.  I also agree that I wish the organization would have done this.

Seems to me...
MLB was painted into a corner on this one.

Whether you believe Ozzie was justified or not with his comments, the media backlash forced MLB's hand here. They were faced with having egg on their faces by letting this pass and had to react in some manner since White Sox management would not.

Sensitivity Training
After the sensitivity training episode of season 2 of Rescue Me, this only makes me laugh. Anyone else?

The bidding starts at 12 p.m. Wednesday at Daley Center. Money raised goes to help the Chicago Anti-hunger Federation and the Greater Chicago Food Depository.
