I know this qualifies as jumping on someone while they're down, but with Vazquez's ERA hitting 5 last night I was wondering how people now feel about the trade for him?

My opinion would be that, if I could, I would trade Vazquez for Chris Young and Luis Vizcaino right now. I probably would even throw in some minor league pitchers. The Sox would get a CF that  would be able to generate an OPS higher than BA's (Young is at .860 in AAA) and a semi-reliable bullpen arm (3.48 ERA, 1.3 WHIP).

In reality, I know AZ wouldn't want him back even pitching well, and moving Vazquez in general would be almost impossible right now. But if he gets hot again, maybe he could get moved (St. Louis or the Reds maybe).

Any opinions on what's wrong? I'm thinking one thing that might help is not allowing him to throw his curve anymore...
