Off Day Fun (I Hope)
Now, I know we're all too "old" for this kind of thing, or shouldn't be worried about such superficialities during a tense playoff run, but I'll try this anyway. Besides, it's raining so much that nobody is coming into my place of employment, so here goes...
If you were on the Sox, what song would you have them play as you came up to bat? Or do you have better suggestions for any of the guys on our team? Remember that they only play about the first twenty seconds of it.

My intro

Great question
Now hear me out. I'd come out from the bullpen and cross the outfield to the slow and steady bass grove, take the mound as starts to build, and by the time the song was in full swing I'd have finished my last warm-up pitch. An odd choice and my friends all disagree (I've actually talked about this before), but I always hum it out when I'm at a game and relief comes in and in my mind it would be cool as hell.
Otherwise, if I were a regular position player, I'd have to go with "Can't You Hear Me Knocking" by the Stones. Great, rowdy, loud intro, and I suppose the lyrics could almost even be misconstrued to be about baseball....kinda.

This is so much fun, I can't stop
Konerko - "Hero". If he is playing well, the rocking Foo Fighters Version. If not, he hears Enrique Iglesias
Still need a good one for Thome...

"sweet home chicago" (peoria)

For me...
And there is no excuse... Mike MacDougal should be coming out to "Of Wolf and Man" by Metallica.
Jim Thome needs to just stick with "Forget to Remember" by Mudvayne... AC/DC's "You shook me all night long" just doesn't get my blood boiling.
And "Harvester of Sorrow" by Metallica is just too perfect for Konerko to change.
And does anybody know what song Dye currently comes out to?
