The Sox haven't scored a first inning run since game four and in the last 12 games have only scored four total runs in innings 1-3. I don't have the starter/relief numbers but I bet they're dramatic. Any theories on why this team doesn't hit starting pitching?

the heart of the 07 sox is its bullpen. for all the hand-wringing about grinderstad, BA, and pods, you have to credit KW (and cooper) for putting this group together.
they take the pressure off the starters and the offense. i think we'll grow fond of this group as the season progresses.
