Game Today (4/6) Postponed?

MLB.com has today's game postponed. This was going to be my first game on TV, but all-in-all could be for the better. A little more bullpen rest, and maybe- just maybe- we get the game in HD now.

Of course, we would need Javy and Danks to go at least 6 each (assuming they are both tomorrow), otherwise our bullpen is going to be just as worn out as before.

Don't expect

a double-header tomorrow. Usually they make it a double-header for a future Twins visit when the weather is much likely to be better.

a little hard to avoid such games

MLB is in the business of making money. people aren't going to show up to a doubleheader when it's this cold. and there's really no way to make a doubleheader work tomorrow with the national broadcast at 2:55.

[i]regional[/i] broadcast. Nobody outside the Midwest will see Twins-White Sox.

in my mosaic window (sat 4/7, 12:10pst):

min-cws -- blacked out
chc-mil -- blacked out (wgn)
det-kc -- blacked out
bal-nyy -- blacked out
pit-cin -- blacked out
sea-cle -- blacked out (ppd, but out regardless)
nym-atl -- blacked out

my local blackouts? laa and lad. whooptie-doo.

i seriously fucking hate you, fox. and not just for forcing us to endure zelasko and buck during baseball. if i can't get the game on my local fox station it shouldn't be blacked out because you're broadcasting it elsewhere.

(note: the same games are blocked even if you have the exclusive directv package, too. ugh....)

picked up all 26 Saturdays this year. So you're probably gonna miss over half of the Sox Saturday games.

i remember when the NFL was having a similar issue

(i.e., games not being on the direct tv package for no good reason). SI columnist peter king got on it and it was fixed. not sure if there's a reporter out there who cares enough to help with this.
