The other name in the N. Cotts and D. "the Pirate: Aardsma trade is fairing pretty well. He is consider a LH releiver and is 24 yrs. old. Between AA and AAA his numbers Read like this
1 win 0 loss .077 era 2saves 23.1 inning pitch 12 hits 2 earned runs 7 bb 17k's whip at .80 opp ba .152
these are the trades where kenny gets the goods... he got the pirate for cotts which straight up looks pretty fair with us winning on the trade straight out because Aardsma has better stuff and is 2 yrs younger than Cotts.
Throw in a productive younger lh handed reliever and I am pretty sure we did well on this trade....
