So, who do we want from the Phillies?

Chase Utley is out for a month with a broken hand.  Looks like they could use Iguchi.  Who would we want?  Keep in mind that they are in the hunt for a playoff spot and probably need the Legend more than we "need" him.

This is added in order to meet the diary constraints.  I'm sorry I don't have more to add, but I thought this at least merited a discussion.

Adrian Cardenas and Jason Donald
Cardenas was 2nd on Goldstein's 2B prospect list and he's not even 20 yet and in Low-A and Donald has hit exceptionally well and is now in A+.  He's got some weird home/away splits, but thanks to it being hard as hell to  find good and current park factors for the minor leagues, I'm not totally sure what to do with them.  What's better is that Donald was originally pegged as a slick fielding SS (from my brief googling, anyway) that didn't have the corresponding stick and so slipped to the 3rd round from UofArizona.  The knock on college players is usually that they aren't particularly toolsy, but it looks like there was some upside there.

I should also note that these are literally the only players that I would want from Philly's position player system.  They are actually more barren than we are.  Hard to fathom, I know.

Michael Bourn
Strikes me as the type of player ozzie and KW love, they're going to give Richar a long look at 2B, so i could see Bourn filling that speedster role, and hes got average to above average defense in CF.

Iguchi for Bourn would please me.

we already have a punchless, plus defender
in CF.  BA.  there's better to go after in the phillies system.

Yet boldly stated, like a man.
Now go shower with Irish Spring and grab some Capt'n Morgan, and the wenches will line up.

I can respect being wrong and admitting it, bro.

Can anybody here play this game?

when
can crede come back from the DL?

maybe we could package iguchi and crede for

Bourn + one of their promising 2B and RHP Carlos Carrasco

just a thought.

wes helms is playing 3B for them now and iguchi is just a rental, helms is served much better off the bench.

Crede likely won't play again this season...
and he damn sure won't be ready to play before July 31st.  None of those players would clear waivers after the deadline so a trade would be impossible.

Let's see if the Phils would be willing to ......
part with Mike Dubee. I know it's a stretch but they could atleast ask. You never know.

God would he look good down in Kanny for us.
