MLBtraderumors.com is reporting that the Cubs have claimed Scotty P. off of the waiver wire.  Has anybody heard anything else about this?  Please, please tell me this is true!!!

It is a good pick up for the Cubs on their pennant run.  Pods is awful, so he will make awful plays in the outfield and get caught stealing many times the few times that he gets on base. Then he will hurt something and be out for the rest of the season.

I love the Cubs.  The way that they torture their fan base is second to none...and then the fans love them more.  Beautiful.
