I don't know if you guys can tell...
Hey, I'm fired up too!
Did we get spoiled by the Sox in 2005 and the first half of last year or what? Watching anything less then excellent baseball has become very painful.
Take the over

I really miss those kinds of runs
There was a lot of discussion about leadoff men, but there's definitely something to be said about that good leadoff man with speed. Getting that cheap run across to take the lead in the first inning is demoralizing for the opps.
Gameday is retarded at times

Well, the least he could do is cut him off
Stone is even warding off the Hawkisms
No "hunker down"?
Seriously though, am I the only one who thinks Hawk is just a tad bit more bearable? He's bringing his A game with Stone in the booth.

Stoney and Hawk are seriously lacking
isn't that better than
They aren't dating
(Cue theme from "Deliverance".)
Jeez
I haven't seen the Erstad one in awhile
"Crisp"
I bet you are not "crisp". Turgid, perhaps. Johnny has gotten through 3 unscathed.
Hawk: "You can..latitude..huge......."
go to where is says "DJ sucks too"
is that all there is? little photoshop job?
thats all i know of
He's sat next to Hawk for almost 10 years
Take a look at DJ's eyes during the pregame...
Not to mention his ridiculous comments like, "Folks, you can strap it down but please don't even strap it on."
stoney vs hawk
insightful vs anecdotal
objective vs subjective
harry caray bag boy vs heiny bird

Stone is kicking his ass big time bottom of the 3d
I betcha between innings the producer tells Stone to slow down - and stick to the 1960's anecdotes.
Stonie, definitely found his groove now
hawk is the one who's stammering now

As always, jamesy,
Bag boy/lickspittle isn't a bad gig. Tiger Woods' caddy makes some nice coin, as did Ed McMahon. Smithers has a nice gig cozying up to Monty Burns, too.
Who has been the best #2 sidekick in history?
Robert Wagner?
Hey, now.
I'm done with Gameday

This is a really enjoyable experience -- I really need to take these next six games in.
Johnie Buehrle
He's certainly come back from that Yankee pounding with no ill effects.

Have we been numbed into bad play-by-play for so long that Hawk sounds like nails on a chalkboard next to Stoney?

Has anyone noticed
Nostradamous
Still have 1/2 the game, and our splendid bullpen(s), to bail you out with the bookies.
He's got a lot of movement
Nick Masset...
6.0 IP, 2 H, 0 R, 1 BB, 1 K.
He lowered his ERA to 2.33. I'm not optimistic, but I hope he can prove to be something useful after all.

bad luck blah
Steve Stone
Stone makes Hawk better, too
They're talking about the old Orioles, but at least it relates.
Danks' Changeup
Danks is at 99 pitches, so if he does come out for the seventh, I'd have a one-baserunner leash.
He's definitely a Buehrle clone
At least when Fields goes down swinging
Rock of Love is over now
hmm Double Impact or Magnificient Seven
Its a tough decision
But Yul/McQueen are a combo
And Horst Bucholtz - well, 'nuff said. Bob Vaughn? James Coburn? Bronson?
Damn, boy, grow some HAIR!
I've got some gray hairs...
Must be from college.

well
But I was glad to see him showcase that his arm is not nearly as erratic as advertised. Even though he hasn't done much at the plate yet, I like what I've seen from him so far.

Gah.
