Seriously, Never Deal with Royals for Pitching
The troubled career of Ambiorix Burgos took a tragic turn on Tuesday when the Mets reliever allegedly killed two women in a hit-and-run accident in the Dominican Republic.
Burgos, 24, reportedly struck Josefina Minaya Martinez, 38, and Angely Fana, 29, while driving his Hummer and police were seeking him for questioning. He's also wanted on a gun possession charge. Witnesses identified him as the driver of the jeep that was involved in the accident, which took place in Nagua, a town outside of Santo Domingo.
