Happy Birthday to Nick Punto and I
Everyone gather around, it's time for a celebration. That's right, you heard it here first; today is Mr. Nicholas Paul Punto's birthday, as well as my own. The family that is southsidesox.com may know some of the similarities between us, but for those that don't, I will gladly point them out:
1. Nick Punto is considered a grinder, as I know how to operate many a grinder (angle, bench)
2. Nick Punto is rather attractive, as am I
3. Nick Punto and I are both right handed
4. Nick Punto and I both love the sox, but his love is hidden away in a deep dark place, where I hide my love for the Twins as well.
5. Nick Punto can bunt, so can I
6. Nicholas and Nathan both start with the letter "N"
7. Nick's last name is similar to what I call my Mexican friends.
8. Nick has been considered a utility player, who can play many positions. On my church softball team I played many positions as well.
9. Nick Punto and I are both graduates of public high schools.
10. Nick Punto went to the same college as Mark Grace, and Mark Grace smokes cigarettes, as do I.
So as we all prepare for our weekend work days (yes I work weekends, and hey Nick Punto does too) I ask everyone to fist pump 3 people and say "Happy Birthday Nick Punto and that guy from the Sox website I read!" Nick and I are out there and we'll hear you.

The movement was so devastating that television announcer Hawk Harrelson called it "the Doomerang," saying that if Day had enough distance to work with, the pitch would eventually come back to him.
