Easy there Tex
Way too early to start number of wins polls. The team isn’t close to finished yet.

Thank you,
these bumblefucks think the Sox are going to trade Dye. I said I would cancel my membership on here in martyrdom of Dye being traded.

Hanley Ramirez?
So, if the Sox can land Hanley Ramirez or Ichiro for Dye you still gonna cancel?

No one sees Beckham throwing his hat in the ring for the second base job? Gammons mentioned this a few weeks ago:
Scouts in Arizona for the Arizona Fall League and the White Sox’s minor league people are convinced that Gordon Beckham, the eighth pick in the MLB draft this past June, will be Chicago’s everyday second baseman by June.

You would be wise not to trust anything Gammons mentions

So I agree with you.

well, he's never met me...
and I don’t have any porn pics of myself available on the internets (they are available by mail order for those interested), so I myself wouldn’t trust him a lick on those points either.
Glad to see the sense of humor is coming out again, OPOS.

that really could only mean one thing if that happened..
that our 2B production was horrible prior to him getting called up. if it was OK, then i wouldnt see the reason to rush him.

Doubtful considering that we have three second baseman already ahead of him

all worse than he is
I’d still rather see him at 3rd; this is where the need will likely be. Move Alexei to third if he stinks it up.

good trade for the sox
the thing about javy, and it’s been the case for the last 2 1/2 season is he falls apart in the 6th inning. The guy has all the potential in the world. 200 k’ sin 208 innings is no fluke the guy strikes people out. If you look at his stats 75% of his k’s are before the 6th inning. This leads to high pitch counts almost everygame. This is a horrible fit for atlanta, espically with there medicore bullpen. Javy would be best suited on a team were he’s the 4th or 5th starter with a good relief core too come in and shorten games for him.

i would venture a guess that 75%+ of all mlb starters strikeouts come before the sixth inning.

75% of his K’s come before the 6th inning? How is this a bad thing? Name a starter that doesn’t do this?

you would expect 5/6 of his K's to come before the 6th.

I would say that its inaccurate about Javy
He usually dies in the 5th.
