... My AVG and OBP are all calculated correctly from BB's, H's, PA's, and AB's. I just arbitrarily threw out the SLG, HR, and 2B numbers because I didn't want to get too complex with the numbers.

Bo Knows and Colintj are kinda bullish on Richar. I foresee a small improvement.

I calculated SLG %
after I guessed on everything else, and was really, really surprised at what I got.  .460 is not unrealistic, but it's a long shot.

If I increase ABs & games played while leaving everything else the same, then SLG% would be adjusted accordingly.

hmm... interesting. I will give it a shot later.

I looked at his First Inning
player page and it looked like his rate stats have stayed solid and his BABIP was ridiculously tiny.  I pretty much just extrapolated from his established rate stats.  That and assumed that he'd get a fair shake from Ozzie.  I guess that's more of an uncertainty than I considered.

But why would we have traded one of our solid assets to avoid giving him a chance to right the BABIP ship?

dude, that was totally not swish you saw on rush street last night. swish was at home playing xbox.

50 games, IF he makes the team
I trust Ozzie as far as I can throw him.  Given a choice between veteran Torpedo Boat and Richar, poor Danny will be better off in AAA.  Throw Pablo in there and I rest my case.
Next time, Bhoov, do some research.

Alas poor Danny
Walk works him over some more in ST, then he carries his slump over into April.  He gets the quick hook from Ozzie to make room for $5mm man Uribe, then goes to AAA:

i don't know what to make of him... i would love to root for him, but i don't know what chance he will be given. I just don't think ozzie is the right guy to bring rookies along.

If we start out hitting like we did last year, how long does walker make it?

I thought this was telling -
He wasn't there!  Some other camp had made him a better offer (a few thou extra) so he made other plans.

Guess he thinks he needs to keep an alternate network open and friendly.

Hmm, I'll agree with you there.
It's weird that everyone loves him though.  Well, I guess not.  No one said that "nice" and "competent" are mutually inclusive.
