Guillen on Masset: "I wouldn't say that it hurt him, but I was a little disappointed about the outing today. A good outing would have made it tougher, but we have to wait and see exactly what we need. Every time you have a bad outing late in Spring Training, it can hurt. Every time you have a good outing, it opens people's eyes. We should make that decision in the next couple days."

Exactly what we need... lol
Translation - If KW can move him then Wasserman, otherwise he's on the roster cause KW told me so
So instead of a big splash, there were ripples -- enough to change the tide, Williams believes

Well...maybe
How's that for insight? Ozzie earlier stated his preference for someone that got people out over someone who didn't but could pitch 3 innings.
But I really think that Williams makes the roster calls. And I think that I'd be surprised if Williams gave up on Masset at this point. KW doesn't seem to drop players he likes easily. They can convince themselves that Masset is the long man they need and it'll give Coop a chance to work with him. So, I guess I agree -- barring a trade, I think Masset makes the team.
