MB didn't have THAT bad a day

The defense did him no favors, and he has a history of imploding when has to allow 5 outs in an inning.

I am completely sick of reading what a terrible defender JD is. I don't claim he's Gold Glove worthy but people here act like he's in a wheelchair out there.

He clearly...

doesn't get around very well any more. He can still throw, though. It's not his fault - he's just been slowed by injury. He's clearly a liability in the field.

He would be fine if they could hide him in left, and if they had a real center fielder to help him out.

can you remember another example of something like this happening? guy nobody shows much interest in who has never played american ball going from a potential utility infielder down the line to a potential future shortstop to an everyday starting centerfielder without actually having done anything?
