Too much beer and Guitar Hero made me find it funny...
It was a three parter
You -- Show us everything you go, etc
We -- na na na na quite a lot, etc
I -- wanna rock and roll all night, party every day, etc.

i'm kind of conflicted
on the one hand, it's funny, on the other, i feel like it may officially be dated.
dude, that was totally not swish you saw on rush street last night. swish was at home playing xbox.
did not stop me from doing it though

It's definitely 2007
but who cares..
1. It's the Mets -- I've heard Venga Boys playing on the PA at Shea last season.
2. the thought of 40K fans having to sit through a Sing-a-Long Rickroll is amusing to me.. It would only be more amusing if I could do it to one of our AL Central foes, or the Cubs.

I'd like to go on record
as saying that Rick Astley's Never Gonna Give You Up is a really enjoyable song. Second, the other choices for the Mets were just as, if not more, ridiculous IMO. Lastly, I can honestly say that I thought myself and about a dozen guys at my office were in the only ones in the world jamming that song and laughing our asses off.
I was just reminded of the song from an Always Sunny in Philadelphia episode. Hilarious show, BTW.
Dear Cheat,
I love how you were surfing around the web and came upon this contest, then you decided to use your blog to throw a monkey wrench into their plans.... It's like your drunk with power. I move for an immediate dis....... oh who am i kidding.... i think this is a fantastic idea. My friends and I play this game at the bars we go to.... Play the worst music that you can think of, but you want people to still sing along or atleast know the words...
Here are my classics for a crowded bar...
Andrew Gold - Thank you for being a friend (the golden girls theme)
Wham - Careless whisper, Wake me up before you go, go.
Anything Billy Ocean .... or as we call him B.O. and then you can actually shout out I Love B.O.
Bette Midler - The Rose
Joe Cocker duet with Jennifer Warnes - Up where we belong.....
I honestly could go on for days.....
I am going to ask you one time, and i'm gonna ask you nice. Where the fuck is Ringo bitch.
I can't claim the idea
it hit my feed reeder, and I decided to spread it. I think it was on Digg at one point (though I don't know if it made the front page)
