this will obviously jinx him
but Gavin’s methods should play pretty well in Safeco

you can go ahead and cancel the postgame show.
thanks a LOT, colin. CLEARLY, this game has already been ruined.

Mariners Fans
On serious suicide watch right now. Let’s push them over the edge with another knockout inning early.
that's true
i took a look at what’s going on at their sportsblog natino site. they are frustrated as hell. pretty good sense of humor about it, too. i got a good laugh out of it.
i wish someone had told me that sportsnation had replaced rationality with caps lock.
I would think that after 2007...
White Sox fans would be sympathetic.
Come on, Nick, turn it around soon.

So are we willing to just say that losing skid was bad luck from the bats yet?
I know SSH has been running around using that sarcastically for a while, but c’mon.
dude, that was totally not swish you saw on rush street last night. swish was at home playing xbox.
While i'm not convinced the offense is good
i do think that it was uncharacteristically awful during that stretch in part because of bad luck. i think we have a slightly above average offense, but as long as we continue to have really good pitching, that should be good enough

It's nice...
that the Sox didn’t have to face Bedard or Hernandez in this series.

nice play orlando
i wish someone had told me that sportsnation had replaced rationality with caps lock.
Wow.
I’ve been critical of Cabrera’s defense, but that was a hell of a play.

well at least it might not be too much to say
that they both have a good shot at playing above average defense. not that that would make up the missing .250 points of OPS between them.
dude, that was totally not swish you saw on rush street last night. swish was at home playing xbox.
don't tell me how many OPS points they're missing
tell me when they’re missing them

disappointed in that 3-2 fastball to walk him
i thought at that point he ought’ve thrown his best pitch. That should be his curve. Also, I doubt he was trying to miss with that fastball.
So yes, guilt is creeping.
