For those of us pining for fundamentals coaching like the Twinkies

it seems that their fans aren’t so high on the team’s defensive abilities either. The comments about their double play duo seem to echo a lot of sentiments about Cabrera and Uribe around here.

Don't blame me, I voted for Kodos.

Yep

Garret Anderson is still a poor outfielder—I was surprised when AJ only got a single on his flare

Garrett Anderson practically fell into the stands, and on top of that he throws LH

the ball bounced practically into the stands

Why rush Getz though?

I just don’t understand the immediate need for another mediocre second baseman.

Let him stay in AAA and try to figure out lefties a little.

The problem with this team is not Uribe, Ozuna or Ramirez. It’s Swisher, Konerko, and Thome.

He seemed to be alerting Contreras Hunter was off. Also, the Angels broadcasters said that Hunter stole one of his bases by running before the pitch this year, so perhaps Cabrera notified him to hold the ball for longer.

Or maybe it was all coincidental.

That was a stupid call but his team still won the first two games of the series...

and if you want to see Ozzie make the exact same stupid decisions, re-watch the Yankees series from earlier this season when he IBB’s guys left and right to get to Abreu, who killed us everytime.

Also we scored 4 runs without recording an out.

That is really full of awesome.

From Cowley:

Oh my goodness, Hawk just kissed D.J. on the Angels “Kiss Cam.” Time to get out of L.A. ASAP.

it was pretty fuckin funny

but a really odd kiss cam sequence. they went back to the same couple that must have been related or “just friends” like 3 times, stayed on an old couple way too long, plus some woman whose left profile was ok and then when she turned to her man showed a big surgical coverup of her right eye.

the last “couple” was hawk and dj. at first they didn’t realize it, then hawk did what could only be described as making out with dj’s temple. both of them turned beet red. dj looked really embarrassed. hilarious.

My wish....

is that we take 3 of the next 4 to create a little buzz at The Cell when the Indians arrive on Tuesday.

Looking ahead....

We’ll miss Lincecum in SF.

Sanchez, Zito, Cain vs. Floyd, Buehrle, Danks.

So then…

Contreras, Vazquez, Floyd vs Cleveland.

About as good a result as I could've hoped for

I have Lackey on one of my fantasy teams, so 7 solid innings from him AND STILL a White Sox winner makes me a happy man.
