damn

no BA in CF.

And Alexei Ramirez...

at second base.

And against a lefty they’ve never seen before.

This team is going to score two runs today, max.

by The Jerry Royster Experience on May 16, 2008 8:40 PM CDT to parent up   0 recs

Meh.

It would only be a problem if Orlando Cabrera ever reached base.

by The Jerry Royster Experience on May 16, 2008 8:43 PM CDT to parent up   0 recs

I'm going to keep beating the drum...

Chris Getz went 1-for-4 with a double tonight.

Wes Whisler pitched 6 strong, but Mike MacDougal and Oneli Perez combined to allow six runs in the last two innings and blow the game.

LOL!

The greatest trick the White Sox ever pulled was convincing their fan base that "Ozzieball" ever existed.

Welcome back, Gavin

Looks like regression to the mean...

And if Jonathan Sanchez for Crede (straight-up) was on the table this offseason, do you think that Kenny was stupid for not making the deal?

by SSH2005 on May 16, 2008 9:25 PM CDT to parent up   0 recs

I take it back, haha...

That curveball was fucking nastay. But these stupid walks and getting behind in the count early has to stop. Otherwise, Gavin will get hammered.

Is that David Crosby looking guy...

David Crosby?

Well then make it work both ways

John Danks is juicing because he’s having an awesome season, and so is Carlos Quentin

AIM: SouthSideCheat

by The Cheat on May 16, 2008 9:52 PM CDT to parent up   0 recs

Swisher...

He hit 21 homers in 2005, 35 in 2006, 22 last season, and he is on pace for 16 this season.

I think it’s funny how you guys act like a ton of these guys weren’t juicing.

by SSH2005 on May 16, 2008 9:58 PM CDT to parent up   0 recs

Roid rage would explain a lot of your posts.

Sherm Lollar hit 22 homers in 1959, and 7 in 1960.

Sox Machine

by Sox Machine on May 16, 2008 9:59 PM CDT to parent up   0 recs

Sherm was an avowed user of the "linament"

rubbed into his biceps. Ted “Big Klu” Kluzewski turned him on to it.
Never was the same after ‘59 and geting tagged out at the plate by John Roseboro. I believe the 3rd base coach for the Sox was named FN Fox.

I took the "under".

What about Ken Henderson?

Went from 6 homers to 20 to 9 over three seasons. He must’ve been on some crazy stuff in ‘74.

I like how you are comparing baseball...

when every player was a skinny white guy to today’s game.

so, by inference

we can only bring up minorities with questionable physiques?

I like how all of a sudden...

...everybody who has a different year from a previous season is all of a sudden on or off juice, even though baseball history is littered with guys who had one big year.

But you do like playing McCarthy around here (Go back to WSI, homer).

Never trust a big butt and a smile.

Or later, Dave Parker? Willie Stargell?

Cut it out, already.

Or Oscar Gamble?

17 homers to 31 to 7!

Big year for ‘ludes. Probably not applicable.

I think it's funny that you equate

the juice with success… There are far more guys on the margins of baseball who have been caught using. Did they just get the bad stuff, and the good stuff is reserved for the one’s you reference?

You know who on the A's was an obvious juicer?

Campy. Who could really play all 9 positions without some enhancement?

Gavin really needs to stay away from the stretch

I think the first batter in his last 4-5 innings have reached

Eventually, all of these leadoff men on base are going to hurt him bad.
