Things are looking up in SF
This year's interleague match-ups prove that the format is worth the annoying aspects that come with it. The Giants open today against the White Sox. The catcher on this particular team is a chinless sub-human who deserves to be booed. He deserves worse, actually, but the booing part is our divinely ordained right. Giants fans deserve the right to boo A.J. Pierzynski so vigorously that he contemplates flying to Minneapolis, forcefully putting Joe Nathan in a gunnysack, and returning him to us. Pierzynski is personally responsible for the Giants not winning the world series in 2004. That isn't a conjecture based on hypotheticals, that's just science. Look in your heart; you know it's true.

No, he personally...
traded himself to the Giants for Nathan, Liriano, and Bonser.

Oh, and...
interleague play is dumb. If this guy wants to boo AJ Pierzynski, he can get on Bart when the White Sox play the A’s.

are things looking up?
in the last ten games (coincidentally since someone opined that the offense sucks and is the biggest joke in all of baseball), the white sox have hit .283 (97/343) and taken 37 walks.
interestingly (and somewhat disappointingly), the sox have averaged only 4.6 runs per game (middle of the pack in the al) over that stretch, as opposed to 4.53 runs per game over the first 30 games.
hopefully the hitting surge continues and a run-scoring binge is on the horizon. missing lincecum won’t hurt.

OT - This is effin hilarious!
Not even he has no idea whatsoever about what he’s talking about but he continues to do so
The greatest trick the White Sox ever pulled was convincing their fan base that "Ozzieball" ever existed.

I watched it live last night
and I believe if he hadn’t started out shouting, Tweety would never have challenged him. Still, good theater.

what a week for AJ
7 straight games where he’s booed by self-righteous fanbases who feel slighted by him for what really is no good reason.
as opposed to the other ballparks where he’s booed, they just do it because it’s the ‘in’ thing. these ones just feel like they’re completely justified.

AJ
“A.J. gets booed at Little League fields,” White Sox manager Ozzie Guillen joked. “He goes to family reunions and gets booed.”http://www.sfgate.com/...
