The greatest trick the White Sox ever pulled was convincing their fan base that "Ozzieball" ever existed.
Can't we just give up
so we don’t have to keep sending Buehrle out there for no reason?
LOL!

Maybe so in the 2nd half of 06
I think it’s pretty much completely fallen by now
like 2nd, 3rd, 4th, or 5th place one!

MenCrush operating in a vacuum tonight?
No swooning for back-to-back BB’s? OBP climbing…

oh, so you're one of THOSE guys: Konerko hasn't "won" one of the 30 games the sox have played this year, therefore I will say he has sucked for the last 2.5 years.

I've watched every game since the Rivera HR. And I hardly ever see him hit a late inning HR!
Unless the Sox are far behind!
well, just since since july of last year
he hit a HR in the 8th tied, one in the 8th up a run, two in the 8th up two runs, and one in the 9th down 2. meaningless, right?

BA BBs
The greatest trick the White Sox ever pulled was convincing their fan base that "Ozzieball" ever existed.
They CANNOT put Uribe up here
This is basically a ninth-inning situation for us.
I'm pretty sure he got the take sign on first pitch
he took a lawn chair up there with him.

cheat...
do you know anywhere to find the % of baserunners who score after reaching with 2 outs?

Haven't you heard
The new league rule says the ChiSox can only score using the HBP, BB and solo HR. Sure is tough on us!
that was slick!

i saw quentin do it last week, too.

All that space, and so far away. When you are from CA you just gotta dream…

threw it on 3 outs?
The greatest trick the White Sox ever pulled was convincing their fan base that "Ozzieball" ever existed.
He was about to - then thought better of it
as it dawned on him the inning was over.
I took the "under".
On any other team
BA would be an all-star by now
It feels like the same kind of game
that the Sox played at the Metrodome.
The same kind of game
That we played all last year and will continue to play all this year

Thome is automatic strikeout.
Can’t we move him down the order? Can’t we change this lineup?
or as long as he has the second best OPS on the team.

Call me crazy
How about Quentin and Thome changing places??
don't count on it...

Thome's been playing like shit all year, except his
two homers in the opener. Move him down. So sick of of K’s.
and in the last 2 weeks, he is OPSing 1.072. what in the hell are you talking about?

Quentin has good speed, patience, won't strike as much as Thome.
Swish, O.C., Quentin, Konerko, AJ, JD, Thome, Crede, Uribe
History
No Sox pitcher has had a complete game loss while giving up no earned runs since Mike Sirotka on 7/23/00 The last time before that was Greg Hibbard on 5/25/90.

It's the first
complete game loss with no earned runs in all of baseball since late 2003

Is this supposed to make it feel better
or worse? We suck in a completely fairly unique way?
I took the "under".
Great information,
though this eve. it feels like pearls before swine.
Present company excepted – I mean the offense.

Good to see you not using caps for emphasis!
Great technique! I see a new trend! SoB, please pick up on this! Easier to read! Can get through it much more quickly!
Thank you! Enjoy another 100 years! Kerry Wood is having a wondrous year so far! I’m sure it’s nothing permanent!

Yep, the D sucked tonight
especially OC.
One mistake costs the game. Tough night. Not pissed – maudlin.
I took the "under".
Be straight forward, little man.
make no sense.
Not going to blame the hitting coach... but.....
At what point does someone have to take the fall? I mean a team batting average of .240 two years running means I want someone’s head on a platter. But we can’t get rid of one of the good ‘ol boys, can we???
Is Crede still one of the best 3rd basemen this year?
after all of these errors?
