ah, another game thread, another echo chamber!
couple of things:
1. Cuban Missile in the 2 hole? I like it IF the OC is on base. Otherwise not so much.
2. I don’t wear team or player apparel, mostly I think it’s stupid. But: if forced to, my jersey would be Fisk or Frank. I’m old , as you know, and those 2 would be my favorite players of all time (Sox).

Laffey's a command and control lefty
That doesn’t seem like a good combo for Alexei no matter the base situation…

Anyone recall Richar's arm?
I think we will miss the 2nd base guns….
by Tdogg on May 22, 2008 8:49 PM CDT reply actions 0 recs
Assuming Richar gets called up
As I recall, he wasn’t assured the job even before he got hurt. My money’s on Ozzie sticking with Uribe a while longer.

Q has a hit
But it was a ground ball single, so he probably doesn’t count it as a hit. Not manly enough.

well if he gave up 6-7 hits and 0-1 walks
same # of baserunners, probably another run, but i’d feel safer I think.

laffey @ 88-53 pitches
this way we won’t see their pen…
