Q!

Trooper, I wholeheartedly agree -

in order to properly describe it, “fucking” HAS to be in the sentence.

I knew we were going to take the lead… I just thought it would be an inning later.

I forgot to take into account the Toby effect.

by vince_ on May 22, 2008 9:20 PM CDT up reply actions

yeah, I thought 9th too

but didn’t have any worries about the pitching giving up another run, so it was just a matter of time.

Was wondering why it was so quiet

I was in the wrong gamethread. It all looks the same at the bottom.

My mind just can’t seem to make that happen ; )

Don't ya just hate it when that happens?

I once went to class with my toby on top and my Q! on my head. Really embarassing.

Don't blame me, I voted for Kodos.

All this with Konerko/Thome/Swisher batting .210

And Ramirrez and Cabrera not really scalding the ball either

by hitlesswonder on May 22, 2008 9:32 PM CDT reply actions

I can see AJ and JD regressing downward a little

Crede and Q staying where they’re at, but assuming Thome, Swish, and PK come back in a big way, our offense will either maintain or mildly exceed its current output.

What a nice feeling

To check the box score, see the Sox beat the Indians and say “Hell yea I knew we were going to beat those bastards from Ohio.”

Con-fi-dence? Quite a novel concept for a Bulls/Sox fan of the past year.

Just got home from the game.

WTF do we live in Chicago for? The wind chill was about 12*!

Haven’t read anything yet, so not sure if it’s been posted before, but tonight was the 837th consecutive complete gave for the Sox starters.

Very impressive.

Pitching and defense.

Was there too

And the 8th/9th made sitting in the cold near the Brewers fans worth while. Although they seemed to have bailed after no one around them wanted to help them start the wave…

by madopal on May 22, 2008 10:44 PM CDT up reply actions

They'll need it

The Angels will be throwing some good pitching at them this weekend.

Then again, the Angels will have to contend with the “Q Factor.”

If anyone would like to join me for a cold frosty at the beer stand near Sec. 103 on Sunday (behind the visitor’s bullpen), give me a shout. I’m fairly coherent through the 4th inning or so.

Imagine, This Team Could Be

29-18 with the Opening Day loss and Bobby’s Baltimore blown save in Baltimore with a 2-run lead w/ 2 strikes & in Chicago that later got suspended. To think this team was left for dry on May 6th after an 0-6 roadtrip to drop 2 games under .500. What a great sport America’s Favorite Pastime is.

I was at the game tonight...

I tried to get some pictures of Q!, but every picture I tried to get of him there was a strange shining blob around his head. Also I faintly heard trumpets.

Truly, this Q! is someone special.

They have so many

Owens’ jerseys on the shelf, the souvenir guys are hoping Q! gets sent down and Owens gets promoted.

See, the # of jerseys in stock are the main determinant of someone stating in the bigs.
