this has got to be juan uribe’s fault.

i wish someone had told me that sportsnation had replaced rationality with caps lock.

I dunno, that POS Ozuna sucks too

"The little things are always in my mind," he said. "I always like to move the guy over, I like to bunt."

That feels good for a change

"Walkie, you're doing a heck of a job."

In all seriousness the starting pitching, very very good.

I know

It’s a pity – any kind of offense the last few weeks and we’d be running away from the division.

"The little things are always in my mind," he said. "I always like to move the guy over, I like to bunt."

So, is Floyd for real?

The K numbers aren’t great but people seem to have trouble hitting him….

You can add another feather to Cooper's cap

This kid was almost out of baseball a year ago.

"The little things are always in my mind," he said. "I always like to move the guy over, I like to bunt."

boy, how much better is coop than walk?

The greatest trick the White Sox ever pulled was convincing their fan base that "Ozzieball" ever existed.

I was just thinking that...

...Coop fixes rookies. He fixes journeymen. He fixes veterans.

What has walker done?

Hey, just stop overthinking this ok?

As previously alluded to,

Gavin Floyd + 40% of Nick Swisher > Freddie Garcia.

Pitching and defense.

gonna out-energy a lot of guys, simply by over-attituding them

Very Nice!

Don't blame me, I voted for Kodos.

BIG PROBLEM.

OUR BABIP FOR THAT GAME WAS .333, TOTALLY, TOTALLY UNSUSTAINABLE (RIGHT, COLIN).

THIS TEAM STILL SUCKS.

Pitching and defense.

I stated this on the previous thread...

How pissed off must Phillie fans must be?

So who's going to win Indiana?

Hammond Egger or Abel Lamb Stewer?

"The little things are always in my mind," he said. "I always like to move the guy over, I like to bunt."

by ChicagoPete on May 6, 2008 10:07 PM CDT reply actions   0 recs

You know who always won in Indiana?

(Hey, who did you vote for, Mr. Indy?)

I took the "under".

by winningugly on May 6, 2008 10:11 PM CDT up reply actions   0 recs

yaz

I’m still registered in Michigan, no move to Indy till closing at the end of the month. Just a lot of commuting back and forth in May.

"The little things are always in my mind," he said. "I always like to move the guy over, I like to bunt."

by ChicagoPete on May 7, 2008 7:04 AM CDT up reply actions   0 recs

Ah, so your vote doesn't count, anyway

until the general election.

I took the "under".

by winningugly on May 7, 2008 8:24 AM CDT up reply actions   0 recs

And even then...

it doesn’t mean squat (one could argue, but this one won’t because he has too much work to do to be screwing around on SSS arguing with people about politics and this isn’t even the right kind of board for political arguments anyways)

Don't blame me, I voted for Kodos.

by rhythm on May 7, 2008 2:21 PM CDT up reply actions   0 recs

Hey, then STFU

(Neat – that’s the 3rd appropriate time I’ve used that acronym in 5 minutes.)

Drinking already since I’m home alone for the next hour. Should be in great shape by game time.

I took the "under".

by winningugly on May 7, 2008 3:08 PM CDT up reply actions   0 recs

Way to go, WU!

I’m glad to see that you’ve finally caught up with the 2003 vernacular. Give it time, you’ll catch up ;)

Getting hosed at 4:30, eh? Must have been quite a day at work, slacker.

Don't blame me, I voted for Kodos.

by rhythm on May 7, 2008 3:40 PM CDT up reply actions   0 recs

Yeah, had to race home

to meet the dishwasher repairperson. 5 alarm fire.

Hey, my short funds are kicking ass! And DIS was up big today in a horseshit market, so my clients can peel some off and feel good about themselves.

I took the "under".

The bidding starts at 12 p.m. Wednesday at Daley Center. Money raised goes to help the Chicago Anti-hunger Federation and the Greater Chicago Food Depository.
