"Just be ready because I expect movement Tuesday," Guillen said. "I expect Kenny to do something Tuesday, and if we don’t do anything Tuesday, there are going to be a lot of lineup changes. That’s all I’m going to say about the offense.
"It can be me. It can be (hitting coach) Greg Walker. It can be the players. It could be anybody. I’m sick and tired to watch this thing for a year and a half. I’m not protecting anybody anymore. (Bleep) it.
"If they can’t get it done, Kenny should find someone to get it done. That’s it."

I saw this posted at SoxTalk...
Direct quote from Guillen broadcasted on WSCR: “If we think we’re going to win with this offense we’re full of s*.”
I’ve been saying the same thing for awhile. My guess is that nothing will happen and Ozzie will change the lineup around again. This is a team that won’t even cut loose Juan fucking Uribe.
cowley report it too
http://blogs.suntimes.com/whitesox/2008/06/ozzie_really_being_ozzie.html
The greatest trick the White Sox ever pulled was convincing their fan base that "Ozzieball" ever existed.
Kenny's response from the Sun-Times:
Williams was at home when informed of Guillen’s comments, and made it clear he wasn’t happy about them.’’Very interesting, very disappointing,’’ Williams said. ’’It’s never a good idea to throw your boss under the bus, especially when that boss has had his back as much as I have. I guess that lineup will be real interesting to see on Tuesday.
’’We have the horses. Everyone has to stay positive and keep grinding. If you’re looking for a quick fix personnel-wise, with the climate right now, you’re not going to get it. I expect more of everyone in that uniform and certainly the guy leading the team on the field.’‘
As for potential changes, Guillen is in charge of hiring and firing his coaching staff, a power granted by Williams after the 2005 season. So if Walker is sent packing, it will be Guillen’s call.
Try not to laugh at the bolded comment. I think it’s interesting that Ozzie has the power to fire Greg Walker but he hasn’t yet, even though he is sick of this pathetic offense.
Except for the fact that Ozzie has the power...
to fire members of his coaching staff, including one Greg Walker. That sort of makes Ozzie’s harsh words hollow.
F Kenny Williams!
How the hell can anyone be positive with this crappy hitting team. What the hell does he expect from Ozzie? I’m glad Ozzie said this…That’s why I love him as manager.
yes, indeed. how could anyone possibly be positive about a team in first place? simply boggles the mind.
they've managed to do it with that offense so far.
and there’s precedent for all this after all. one only needs to look at your username for an example. i know this must be absolutley shocking to you but, over the first two months, the offense this year is better than that one was.
23 of next 26 games are in chicago
in a year where the home team in mlb is winning at an impressive .577 clip, as opposed to .530 to .555 range since 2004, the white sox stand to get their offense in order at the hitting friendly Cell over the next month.
