are the sox giving up as many SBs relative to other teams as it seems, or does it seem worse because the sox never run?

My boy Floyd basically

hasn’t disappointed me….though I am realistic about how he has REALLY pitched….out of the 50 runs allowed, only 32 have been earned…..some of that is on him….see today. Nevertheless, if he can end with an ERA south of 4.3 or so….he’s done well….with promise for further development/progress.

by dantesox on Jun 19, 2008 2:55 PM CDT reply actions

Adding to that...

his peripherals continue to suggest that development is well underway….he’s got to curb that damn HR ball, though.

by ballyb on Jun 19, 2008 2:58 PM CDT up reply actions

that's how it ends up on the statsheet,

and i have no love for ozuna, but he didn’t throw those pitches to mclouth, sanchez, or bay right after the error either. if buehrle had been pitching today, people would have been pissed about the error but then still shit all over mb for failing to pitch over it.
