Charting a Rising Missile
I was perusing Fangraphs after the game today looking at they WPA graphs (Sox were at less than 2% after the top of the second) and one thing lead to another and I pulled up to Ramirez' graphs and stats. I was struck by how linear his gains have been since a rough first month.
Perhaps this guy really is improving every day.
Some things still need improving, like patience, patience, patience. I don't get the feeling the Missile will ever be much of a walk taker, but if he can just improve a little bit he could be a 300/350/475 guy from SS -- and that would be awesome.

i saw this movie.
i thought the chicks were pretty hot, if a little skanky looking. but they sure looked eager while they were giving head. and they took the cumshot like champs.
i'll agree, with the caveat that i'm a titties man, and i'm willing to overlook a lot of other things if a woman is repping a serious set.
They're gonna give daddy the Rain Man suite, you dig that?

Grindiness is stupid
but I appreciate the idea of intelligent baseball players. I think Swish, Q and La Cravate are such players.
are you trying to use stats around here? what the fuck do you think this is? - MM
Hawks says he's the best ballplayer on our team
Probably coaches included. (Not ex-GM’s, though.)

I remember a great quote about Bo
Pre injury, I can’t remember who said it, but they said “Bo was the only ballplayer who I ever saw that you could see him improve day to day.”
Now obviously Bo was an unreal athlete and had been playing American baseball his whole life, so he was quite a bit further along the curve than A-Ram.
But A-Rams steady improvement is encouraging.
Bo Belinsky?
Great ladies man, threw a no-no, but partied way too much.
