lol @ ramirez

high fastball he hits a looping liner to deep short and is easily thrown out. Most guys a) take that pitch or b) swing right through it every time. Somehow Ramirez hits it hard but right at someone.

losing a 3 run 4th inning lead

doesn’t make it epic.

from the American Heritage Dictionary Epic – “Surpassing the usual or ordinary, particularly in scope or size” and i’m assuming you’re not referring to it in the heroic sense, so i’ll ignore that

Sorry, but that doesn’t seem to be too out of the ordinary. now don’t mention that they ended up scoring 9 runs because this comment was made before then. be glad that now you can stop watching this game and enjoy a wonderful day outside. once i hit post here, my afternoon is freed up and i will enjoy a glorious day.

Pulls Danks who is cruising, young kid got to get him out of there. then leaves old man river to die without even a trip to the mound to ask what the hell is going on. The dusty baker approach to pitcher management.

Irony...

Yesterday, Ozzie takes Danks out early when he was pitching well and the Sox lose.
Today, Ozzie leaves Contreras in too long when he was pitching like dogshit and the Sox lose.

Because...?

If I’m hanging with fellow Sox fans during a broadcast I don’t constantly want to defend that they don’t suck. And when they do, I don’t want it to be a contest as to who predicts failure first and revels in it. Not fun.

It’s not a matter of growing hair. It’s a matter of choosing to not constanly fight. I’ve been in marriages like that – it’s exhausting. I left that, got into a good, positive one, and will not go back to energy-depleting relationships, even on the Web.

You suck the life out of the room with your negativity and pride in predicting negative performance. I can appreciate you are a fan, and that’s how you proclaim your loyalty (as goofy as I think it is). I just don’t have to be a part of it. If that makes me a puss, so be it.

I was hoping fatherhood might take the edge off your negativity. You are a metronome, though, and seem to be posting negatively even more often.

No mas. Nothing personal – it’s just not my idea of a good time any more.
