Watch the Sox offense get owned by yet another lefty they haven't seen before...

I also lost my hair due to a stupid bet with my brother-in-law...
Never bet on the White Sox. They will always disappoint (except for 2005).
Have you put your head in the Shine-O-Ball-O down at the local bowling alley yet?
I’ve always wondered what it would look like if you did that and then looked in the mirror.
Don't blame me, I voted for Kodos.
Thats not too bad.
Unless you had Samson-esque locks that you’d been growing since birth.
Plus, the ladies will want to feel the all bumps you never knew you had.
I could never do that
I have a screw head – too many ridges. I have to twist my Sox hat onto my head just to fit it on.
Though it doesn’t blow off in a high wind.

Thanks. I didn't know that.
Brainiac, if I got it to fit over the ridges my ears would have to hold the hat up. And wouldn’t that be special?

combined with the fact that he’s a regular catcher.
Martin had to play it perfectly, and he did.

You're probably right
Hopefully Oz doesn’t take that as a cue to make him bunt more since he’s one of the few who can apparently execute the move

It would be terrible to get runs in the early innings.. what were they thinking? Obviously you only can score 1 run at a time late in the game.

To get an early lead?
I must be completely confused about the concept of baseball, because it seems like a pretty good idea to me. You have a guy with the one of 5 lowest ERA’s in the AL on the mound, this isn’t Nick Masset out there on the mound, and we’re facing the Dodgers, not exactly an offensive power house. You get runs where you can get them.
by Grinder in Training on Jun 26, 2008 2:43 PM CDT up reply actions
you're right.
in addition, it wasn’t like he sacrificed an out anyway (not sure why they called it a sac when it looked like he was bunting for a base hit). it was a good bunt that took a perfect play to end in an out.

Craptastic, but what do you expect?
On the surface, runners at 1st and 3rd, no outs sounds like it should score at least a run, but having the pitcher at bat in that situation, what do you really expect?
What I may have had him do would be to hack away there, hoping for a ball in the air, a run scoring dp, or a strike out, but that could easily result into the same situation as well.
