The Chicago White Sox have returned Bobby Jenks from his injury rehabilitation assignment to Double-A Birmingham and have reinstated the right-hander from the 15-day disabled list.
Jenks, 27, was placed on the 15-day disabled list on July 9 (retroactive to June 30) with left scapula bursitis. He posted a 4.50 ERA (1 ER/2.0 IP) and three strikeouts in two combined rehab starts with Single-A Winston-Salem and Birmingham.
