He got zero help from his defense in his first big league game pitching in the Cell. His K and BB numbers were great. Except for Young, he kept the ball in park. Considering it’s his first big league game, I think most people saw enough to give him a shot as a #5 starter again.

Less “conspiracy” and more “entertainment” seems to be the rationale for the edit. And of course TV and newspaper articles get edited all the time (space, time issues) and are often posted in full in another location (internet).
Simmer down. I’m no fan of CBS, but I agree with the premise that there is no conspiracy, just TV bein’ TV.

my point was more toward the bad journalism (isn’t that where this started?) by not realizing the factual error related to what he is taking credit for or for not deeming it significant enough to include.
