This might be the best offensive effort I've seen all season long

they’ve really put together some fantastic at-bats so far. Fantastic job getting Verlander out after four, and that opposite-field double by Thome was beautiful.

Hester is one of those guys that thank god they are good at athletics

dumb as dirt otherwise. That said, FB is really a different animal for the players, the game takes such a toll on the body and the average career is so short. And yet there are no guaranteed contracts.
