just got back from playing real baseball! They even let me pitch. I was pretty gassed after the inning they gave me, but I think I was low 80’s and I was working inside and eating them up. 2K, 1BB and a weak jamshot 4-3. the only who comes immediately to mind is Randy Jones, who pitched for the Padres in the 1970s. He lost 20 games, then won a Cy Young, then dived, came back a bit, before sucking out before he retired.
Burt Hooton (1970s)
was like that as well. Sucked royal with the Cubs, then was great for a year or two with the Dodgers, then bounced between mediocre and good for several years.
