i must say i find it hilarious
and an indictment of the local sports media that some podunk tv station in indiana reported richard was recalled 18 hours ago and the knights issued a release to the same effect. and forty minutes before the game we still don’t know from our local reporters who got sent down/placed on DL.

but some other team claimed him first and are negotiating with the Mariners for his services.
No word on Washburn yet.

I doubt they were going to give Broadway more then one start.. I figure it gave Carrasco another week in the pen, and they were thinking the Royals are god awful, maybe Broadway can get through 4 or 5 and by next week they’d have a solution for the number 5 spot. If nothing else it gets them closer to Linebrink being back in the pen, and at that point it’s easier to move Carrasco to the rotation.
