he’s holding back on seeing it (placing great mental strain upon himself) so that Dark Knight can remain number 1 even longer at the box office.

By the way, if/when you see it, I recommend shilling out the extra few bucks to see it on IMAX, it makes a difference

I am ashamed to say I wanted to clap when he ejected from the Batmobile.

And I even knew there was a batpod involved….just didn’t know how or when.

My favorite part – a shot that was shown in all trailers – was when the Joker was hanging out the car window and everything went silent.

Does anyone know why they chose Chicago over NYC?

Not that it really matters, Chicago has that great neo-classical architcture, probably moreso than NYC even, that fits the motif of Gotham City.

It just seems like there’s been more buzz about Chicago being portrayed as Gotham in Dark Knight. Maybe I’m wrong?

In my opinion at least

Gotham in Dark Knight looks more like Chicago than Gotham in Batman Begins which coupled with how big this movie is may be what is drawing attention to Chicago being Gotham this time around.

dk has several shots that really have never been used in film before, plus it has a lot of day time scenes.
