I can see them getting one in, at least.

The Twins are not good, please stop posting their score.

Sox-Tigers doubleheader postponed to Sunday

By Dave van Dyck, 2:35 p.m.

Saturday’s doubleheader between the White Sox and Tigers at U.S. Cellular Field has been postponed to Sunday, when they will play at 1:05 p.m. and 7:05 p.m.

Rain throughout the day has made a mess of roads and basements throughout the Chicago area and is not having an impact on the Sox. The Cubs are awaiting word on where they’ll play a Sunday doubleheader vs. the Astros.

Fans with tickets to Saturday’s 2:55 game can use them for Sunday’s first game or exchange the tickets for a game next April, excluding Opening Day.

The first game can be seen on Comcast SportsNet. ESPN will carry the night game. Both can be heard on WSCR-AM 670.

Plus, the Sox are headed East. Isn’t this cell that is following them just going to travel east?

Juan and Toby's delivery order has arrived:

Sweet, more time to research Dick McDudeskissing

"I’m gonna rise up, gonna kick a little ass. Gonna kick some ass in the USA. Gonna climb a mountain, gonna sew a flag, gonna fly on an eagle. I’m gonna kick some butt, gonna drive a big truck. I’m gonna rule this world. I’m gonna kick some ass. I’m gonna rise up, gonna kick a little ass. Rock, flag, and eagle!"

From what I read no way they get that night game in tomorrow.

The SSS motto should be the answer to "What is our deepest fear?". Or maybe just Prozac.

so, is anyone else already planning to take 9/30 off from work? could be a big day. wonder if there could even be a sox-tigers then twins day night....

of course, in that case, mlb would probably just flip the starts of the Al series’ so the division winner-division winner series starts on the 2nd and not the 1st.

er, that would be 9/29.

but, with the way things are going, might be 9/30 as well.

Hadn't yet considered it...but you raise a good idea.

I think I would rather take the next day off to recover.
I can at least follow games while at work, whereas I may have wounds to lick on the day following. I hate being at work when the Sox are bumming me out, for whatever reason. I am far more irritable (as was demonstrated on Black Friday, when Q! news was breaking. I almost went home “sick” that day.).

...and then some depressed fucked-cake eating.

haha, thanks a lot, pos.

I go about my coping a little differently than him.
