Quentin Will Test Wrist on Friday
How soon do we see Q back in the lineup? I'd prefer him to wait until he's a lot closer to 100% than to rush things and have a setback. Is the Minnesota series a possibility? Or will we have to wait until October?
Left field slugger Carlos Quentin will rejoin the White Sox in Kansas City on Friday and will be able to test his right wrist with swings.
An examination at Rush University Medical Center revealed that the fracture has lined up but, as expected, hasn't completely healed.
A soft cast was removed and Quentin was allowed to resume baseball work. He started range of motion drills Wednesday and will resume swinging on Friday. He is being examined daily.
Manager Ozzie Guillen wasn't sure when Quentin would be able to take batting practice.

Quentin update...
Friday’s program involved strengthening of the wrist and work on range of motion. He also used a small exercise stick, which is primarily put into action by players to increase endurance, and also roll over sore muscles and to take dry swings. Quentin explained how his wrist felt tight during the swings, like it had been immobilized for the past week.
“As far as pain, it’s minimal I think,” Quentin said. "That’s good for right now. There will be some pain, I assume, involved when I get some range of motion back.
“But when the doctor looked at it, he looked at the X-rays and liked what he saw. The pins and the wire in there make it very stable, very strong, so he was very happy with that.”
"god, you’re fucking stupid."

I love Quentin's comments about his injury, it's almost like he's a robot that talks like hemingway wrote
“It will heal. It will heal fast”. There will be some pain. But it is very strong, very stable. I am happy with that."
