Buehrle rebounded from one bad start against the Twins earlier in the Cell by smashing a dugout heater with a bat. And while Buehrle is 13-7 with a 3.47 ERA since, I’m not sure property damage can be counted upon as a cure the next time around.That said, it’s inexcusable for Ozzie Guillen to put anything besides his best defense behind Buehrle, which chiefly means no General Soreness in center. It should be Brian Anderson, but I’d take Jerry Owens, Nick Swisher, Dewayne Wise, Jason Bourgeois — I really don’t care as long as it’s not Ken Griffey Jr.
If Guillen makes that change, then it’s all on Buehrle to get the job done in the biggest game of the Sox’s season to date. That’s precisely why they’re paying him $56 million over the next four years, and precisely why they drastically limited his spring workload. Put the good gloves behind him, and he has no excuses.

What with him driving in 3 runs yesterday (one on a double play…great job there). I think with the Sox offense in shambles, Ozzie will be scared not have Griffey in the lineup.
My vote obviously goes to BA (or even Swisher).

yep. An idea that's been cooking for 5 years in my head, and a few years (in its own form) in the heads of my two co-collaborators, whom I met by odd chance and creatively sparked with immediately...
I am solely writing it, but the 3 of us are working on developing the story together.
It’s really solid, extremely funny, and very socially statemental (word? now it is…as in, it makes a statement). I’m super confident that it will be picked up by a studio….I may be LA-bound in the next year to join my two buddies (there now) and bring it to life. I want to avoid LA, if possible, but I will go there to pursue this dream in a heartbeat.
I worked behind-the-scenes for local access tv for a long time (even announced basketball games, ouch, I know) – no shame in that. It’s awesome good fun – less egomaniacs and much more freedom, depending on who’s running it…
Writing, in any form, is just plain good for the soul…

Alright -- New Plan! The Sox should say they are suspending the season until the financial crisis is solved.
