Enjoy the game everyone. Happy Halloween.

Halloween costumes, folks? A buddy of mine and I are being the Legion of Doom. Included in the costume is a pretty legit wrestling belt as well as tights.

Stairs and Rollins didn’t even make Mariano work that hard.

Good game, H2! Tomorrow is for all the marbles (one would think)
Hey Q
What would you do if the White Sox played the Yankees in game 7 of the ALCS? Who would you be pulling for?
Look yonder, fellow SSSers. 2010 looms bright!

Seriously
Easy choice…I root for the Yankees in 154-156 games a year during the regular season (all their games except for the ones vs. the WSox). In a playoff matchup, I’d root for the Sox, as I do in their regular season head-to-heads.
It’s actually pretty easy to like 2 teams in the same league as long as they’re not in the same division.

Must be nice to have two teams....
I used to be in a similar… well the same situation as your in. But then the Yanks ended up with a few players that I can’t stand and it also helped that when Gramps kicked the bucket, his Yankee hatred finally passed on to me. He’d be damn pleased about that one ;)
cool story
My Dad was a Yanks fan, so that’s where a lot of it comes from. I followed them some as a kid and then moved to NJ/NYC in 1999 and started going to games a lot, so it intensified.
If they ever beat the WSox a bunch of times in the playoffs though, I’d have to reconsider. For now, it’s worked well.
Do you think the Yankee outfielders got together and planned to fake throwing third-out fly balls to Philly fans?
WWJeterD?
