ahhhhh! I shut it off just before I was able to witness him touch the plate. Ran outside for some fresh air after 13 straight hours in my office (the last 5 spent watching the game).

got home late after watching the game.
turned on xm 175 as i was going to sleep. the show was being replayed from earlier in the evening and the host (don’t remember his name) and his sidekick, ROYCE CLAYTON, would comment on the goings on in the twins-tigers game regularly. anyway, when polanco came up in the 9th with men on 1st and 3rd and no one out, ROYCE CLAYTON proclaimed that in such a situation he would rather have polanco batting than albert pujols or manny ramirez. i am not making this up.
the suck is not just a river in ireland.
I think Royce went to the same broadcast school as DJ and Singleton.
