Last night i dreamt that i was super curious what you guys thought about Pete Rose and his lack of HOF status. So, with nothing really to add, ill just shut up and ask:

I was going to include a Jerry Owens and a Defensive Fields option, but i actually want to know. FPing this would be swell as it would get more votes! (now i just have to reach seventy five words. i succeeded!)

The baseball hall of fame is a museum dedicated to the history of the game.

Rule 21d spells out permanent ineligibility and it’s fine to keep him from being a part of the on-field game again or be employed by baseball. However, when people go to the Hall of Fame, they should be able to spend the time there and get the complete history of the game of baseball….including all of the star players. The story of baseball is incomplete without Pete Rose just as it will be incomplete if we ban steroid abusers.

Lifetime ban would’ve still been enforced, and he wouldn’t’ve made a dime off adding “HOF” to his billion signatures.

im indifferent

but leaning towards letting him in when i think about it. probly mostly because they should let shoeless joe in too. i agree with sox machine, wait till he dead.

i dont see how gambling trumps the others though? the end result is still the same, personal gain.
